MamaCare is a private, self-hosted family care-coordination portal operated by the Moran family for the care of one family member. It is not a commercial service, is not offered to the public, and has no paying users.
Access is limited to the care team the family administrator invites: family members and named care professionals (for example a concierge nurse). Each person receives their own account with role-based permissions. You may not share your login.
Where enabled, MamaCare connects to a patient portal (such as Epic MyChart) read-only, using patient-facing FHIR APIs, only after the patient or her legally authorized representative explicitly authorizes it through the provider's own login page. MamaCare never writes to any provider system. Authorization can be revoked at any time from the provider's portal (e.g. MyChart → Security settings → linked apps), which immediately ends MamaCare's access.
All records retrieved or entered — care notes, appointments, medications, documents — are stored on the family's own equipment, not in any cloud service operated by us or by third parties. Access requires an individual login; sensitive categories (medical, financial) are additionally restricted by role and, for credentials and identifiers, encrypted at rest. Data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or disclosed to third parties.
MamaCare organizes and displays information; it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Clinical questions belong to the care team's licensed professionals. In an emergency, call emergency services — do not rely on this portal.
The software is provided "as is", for personal family use, without warranty of any kind. The operators are volunteers (family members) and are not liable for decisions made in reliance on information displayed here.
These terms may be updated as the portal evolves; the current version is always at this URL. Questions: pmoran@aptect.com.
