MamaCare — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-12

MamaCare is a private, non-commercial family tool used to coordinate care for a family member. It is operated by Patrick Moran for personal and family use, and is not offered to the general public.

Who uses MamaCare

Only invited family members and care-team contacts (e.g. the care recipient's family, nurses, care manager, and providers). It is not a public service.

Information we handle

How we use it

Only to coordinate care among the family and care team. **We do not sell, rent, or share personal information** with advertisers or unrelated third parties.

Where data is stored

On a private server operated by the family — not a third-party cloud. Sensitive items (such as account credentials) are encrypted, and access is limited by role.

WhatsApp / Meta

MamaCare uses the WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta) to send and receive messages. Messages transit Meta's systems subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. We deliberately keep sensitive detail out of WhatsApp messages — a notice typically contains only a short prompt and a link to the private portal, where the actual information lives behind sign-in and per-person access controls.

Data retention & deletion

We keep care records only as long as needed to coordinate care. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information — or to stop receiving messages — contact pjmoran42@gmail.com. We will remove a person's contact details and stop messaging them on request.

Children

MamaCare is used by adults coordinating care for an adult family member. It is not directed at children.
